Rehabilitation of Offenders

The post you have applied for is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, because it involves access to children, older or vulnerable people. Therefore, you are required to provide details of all convictions in the box below, even if they are classified as ‘spent’.

If you are successful in this recruitment process, you will provide Nudge Education Limited with a disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) about you, or one will be made for you by Nudge Education Limited, irrespective of whether you tick Yes or No. This will be discussed with you at the time. The information gained will be used by Nudge Education Limited to check your suitability for the post. This form will not be used for shortlisting, however it will be made available to the interview panel if you are shortlisted.

If the role you are in or have applied for involves frequent or regular contact with or responsibility for children, you will also be required to provide a valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate, which will provide details of criminal convictions. This may also include a barred list check depending on the nature of the role (see organisational guidance about eligibility for DBS checks).

You have a right of access to information held on you under the General Data Protection Regulations 2018.
